Cirace Family Establish 1906
Cirace Family Three Generation of History
For over a century, the Cirace family has been deeply rooted in the heart of Boston's Italian North End. The journey began in 1906 as Italian grocery & tobacco store, nurtured by the dreams of our grandparents, Vincenza and Ernesto, who emigrated from Salerno, located at the base of the Amalfi Coast. Their spirit of enterprise, hard work, and love for their homeland laid the foundation for what would become a multi-generational passion for fine food and wine.
After Prohibition, their father, Ernest, a World War II veteran and law graduate, along with his sister Eda, guided the family business towards a focus on fine wine and spirits. Ernest’s vision led to the establishment of Cive Importing Company in 1953, solidifying their commitment to bringing the best of Italy to the United States.
Today, the Cirace legacy continues through Lisa and Jeff. Raised in a world of flavors and aromas, they carry on the tradition of their forefathers. The family’s latest venture, Sogno di Sorrento liqueurs, is a heartfelt tribute to their roots.
Crafted in small batches using time-honored recipes, the liqueurs capture the essence of the Amalfi Coast. From the sun-drenched fruits to the rich, volcanic soil, every bottle reflects our unwavering dedication to quality and authenticity. Just as the family has evolved over generations, so too has the product line, expanding to include the exquisite flavors of the Amalfi coast and Southern Italy.
With Sogno di Sorrento, we invite you to experience the dreams of our homeland. Each sip is a journey through time, a celebration of family, and a testament to the enduring spirit of Italy.
Salute!
Lisa & Jeff Cirace

Russo Family
Russo Family Four Generation of History
Back in 1899, Antonio Russo founded one of the first distilleries in Campania; the trade was taken up and learned by his son Gennaro, who specialized in the transformation of liqueurs.
In turn, his son Maurizio revalued the famous art of infusions, created the Elisir di Limoncello, prepared according to the traditional recipe with the peels of the IGP Amalfi Coast lemon and thus consecrated his brand at an international level.
Maurizio Russo left his art and passion as a legacy to his sons Gianluca and Massimiliano who still today, with the wisdom of ancient distillers, collect the thousand flavors of the secret family recipes, treasuring them to entrust to the new generation.
This family, with centuries-old, intense and passionate experience, is constantly evolving, always looking for new ideas to conquer lovers of genuine flavours.
Spanning seven generations, our families have collaborated to produce these exceptional liqueurs.
Our producer, Maurizio Russo represents four generations of traditional, artisanal, handcrafted distillation. They are located at the base of the Amalfi Coast in Cava de Terreni, a small town outside of Salerno. Our fruits are selected from the finest growers on the Amalfi Coast sharing long-standing relationships with the Russo family. Our Pistachio’s are sourced from the finest groves at the base of Mt. Etna in Sicily. Lemons are Amalfitano IGP used for both our Lemoncello & Crema Lemoncello. Our blood oranges are selected from orange groves located in the town of Nocera. Espresso Caffe and Crema Caffe are produced from selected blend of dark roasted, Neoplolitan style, southern Italian coffee beans from Salerno. Our producer takes special care producing only the finest, traditional liqueurs from the Amalfi Coast. We invite you to share our passion & tradition!
